Thaman is elected executive board member of NMA(Nepal Mountaineering Association) the national alpine club and linked with all the alpine club in the major countries in the world.Its duty is to promot the mauntaineering tourism and make relationship with different alpine club in the world and get in networking.Also it works in savings of mauntain spheres.

And Thaman is involving in trade union activities to promot powerless and unconscious workers in tourism who are suffered by the company or guide or leaders.Thaman himself started job in tourism as a porter and he knows the situation of real workers in Nepal.Actually he wants to make well condition of workers and eco-friendly tourism in Nepal.
